EA Sports FC 24
Football
game from EA Sports, a studio known for its FIFA series. This is the
first production of its kind in more than thirty years, which was not
created in cooperation with the FIFA organization - the lack of
agreement on cooperation, translated into the decision to create a new
brand. EA
Sports FC 24 is a sports game focused on club and national soccer
rivalries, and the heir to the FIFA series launched in 1993. The new
brand - like the aforementioned series - was developed by EA Sports
studio. The title change was the result of a disagreement over further
cooperation with the International Federation of Football (FIFA). The
production's cover is adorned by Erling Haaland, a striker for British
club Manchester City.
Game Modes
EA
Sports FC 24 sees the return of the Volta Football (inspired by street
soccer) and the hugely popular Ultimate Team modes. In the latter, we
again have the opportunity to build our own team using purchased or
drawn packs with athletes. However, it lived to see key changes, among
which was the option to create hybrid squads - composed of men and
women. The team chemistry system remained the same in this case, still
giving a bonus to the use of a team based on one nationality or league.
Another important change is the introduction of Ultimate Team Evolution,
allowing players and players to improve by meeting specific criteria.
Our team no longer has to consist solely of stars to be on par with the
cadre of rivals. What's more, in EA Sports FC 24 not only the overall
rating of the charges matters, but also their playing styles - different
configurations will reflect on the team's behavior during the match.
Technical Issues
The game is powered by a new version of the Frostbite engine, which allows to accurately reproduce the appearance and movements of athletes, as well as realistically show the behavior of their outfits during matches. It's worth mentioning that, unlike the latest installments of FIF, the version of EA Sports FC 24 for Nintendo Switch does not differ from other platforms in terms of basic content (excluding cross-play features). However, the title has been adapted to the capabilities of the hybrid console.
