Total War: Pharaoh
Total War: Pharaoh is a historical strategy game set in ancient Egypt. The game is divided into two levels - turn-based on a strategic map, where we manage countries, and during a great battle with thousands of units.
Storyline
The game takes us back to ancient Egypt. The action begins with the death of the current Pharaoh. The people of Egypt, Canaan and the Hittite Empire are waiting for a new leader. There are many candidates for power, but ultimately only one of them will become the next ruler of this empire.Mechanics
Total War: Pharaoh is an extension of the ideas from the previous installments of the series. The game is divided into two levels - strategic, dealing with managing the country, and tactical, in the form of battles. When we start the game, we choose between eight faction leaders from three cultural centers, and each of them has unique features that influence the gameplay. The strategic layer is played in a turn-based system on a map full of details, stretching from the fertile banks of the Nile through the windswept barren deserts of the Sinai Peninsula to the mountainous crags of ancient Anatolia. In this mode, we develop the economy and cities, conduct trade, engage in diplomacy, and recruit and equip armies.
