Sonic Superstars
Sonic Superstars is a platformer belonging to one of the most popular series of the genre. In terms of gameplay, the title refers to the tradition of the brand's early two-dimensional installments, but combines them with attractive 3D graphics. This is the first installment of the series with a cooperative mode.
Storyline
In the game, Sonic and his friends head to the Northstar Islands on a mission to foil the evil Dr. Eggman's new plan. It won't be an easy task, as the mad scientist this time joined forces with a criminal named Fang.Mechanics
The game combines two-dimensional gameplay mechanics modeled on the early installments of the series with a modern 3D setting. During the game, we rush at breakneck speed through game boards full of traps and enemies. The player can both dodge enemies and eliminate them, and a key role is played by collecting gold rings, which we lose after our character receives damage. The game offers several playable characters - among them are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose. Each of them has unique skills that diversify the gameplay.Game modes
Sonic Superstars offers a traditional single-player mode and, for the first time in the series' history, also cooperative multiplayer for up to four players.
